Vintage Lens Test #1 Sears 80-200mm f4 Macro Lens

Sears 80-200mm f4 Macro Lens.

Average lens price is about $20 online. I use this lens for a lot of my video work. I occasionally use for still photos like the examples here. F stops are changed manually through the lens. This lens is about 30 years old. Manual focus with built in extender.

All photos are STRAIGHT OUT OF CAMERA, for sake of seeing what the actual results of the lens are. All photos taken with Canon 6D. Since the mount is a FD Canon mount, I am using a FD-EF adapter with built in optics to correct for "infinity" focusing. Please check out all the photos and see what 30 year old glass can do. Lighting was open shade, cloudy day.

More lens tests to come! I have a lot of old glass!
